We stayed for two nights in the Towering Pines cabin and absolutely loveqd it. Clean, spacious, awesome fireplace, right on Poplar Lake. Wonderful people running the show, and Charlie the lab fetching his tennis ball. We will without a doubt go back.

Our family stayed in July 2020. Accommodations are more than expected. Awesome staff. Peace and beauty right outside our door. We had so much fun. Swimming. Bon fires. Fishing. Hard to leave. We have plans to return next year. A huge thank you from The Favorite Family.

Stayed at Nor'Wester this past Sunday-Wednesday and booked our next trip there as we left! The grounds were well taken care of and lots of things to do even though the lodge was closed due to COVID, as well as lots of space to lounge and take in the view. It was super windy the first two days there, but it didn't make it any less enjoyable. When we did see staff, they were always so pleasant and helpful. One staffer we saw a lot of and really enjoyed was Kirby, the resident black lab. He welcomed himself into our camper a couple times, enjoyed treats, played with our lab, and showed us around. He was a part of the family for those days and my camera reel shows that. We loved that it was nestled into the woods and close to trails, but also near Trail Center Lodge to grab breakfast/lunch/supper at. We cannot wait to come back and hopefully, to be able to hang out in the lodge. As well as see how big Kirby has gotten.

My hubby and I rented the cute little Birch cabin for four nights. We had the best time exploring the Gunflint trail. the cabin was cozy and clean. We had the best view of Poplar lake and plenty of privacy. We even made friends with Kirby the Kamp dog who lives on-site. We will be back soon.

Very friendly staff, awesome location!

Campsites were beautiful. It had all the equipment we needed to venture out on the lake. Kids loved the playground and beach. Staff was very friendly and recommended great hikes.

I loved this resort! The family that owns it are so nice. The spots are few but clean. The bathrooms and shower are clean. The beach is groomed and the equipment is well maintained. Each site comes with water and electricity. The area is peaceful and quiet. All the other campers were extremely kind...I felt like I was camping with family. Love this place will go back again!
