Beautiful cabins along the Guntflint Trails. It is about 30-45 minutes from the town, which makes it the perfect escape. We stayed at the Towering Pines cabin and it was clean and comfortable. Even the beds were comfortable, which is one of my top priorities when traveling. Beautiful fireplace and the cabin overlooks Poplar Lake. Couldn't ask for a better spot to rejuvinate and relax. They are dog friendly (big and small dogs!). The staff were very helpful and took the time to explain and provide information. The lodge is closed during the winter months, but told us they could possibly open a cabin if we wanted to stay. Perfect place for snowshoeing and a hiker's dream. There are literally hundred of miles of trails. We saw plently of wild life and enjoyed the fresh air. If I could give them 100 stars, I would.

We had good time up there! Everyone was friendly and helpful. I will be going back up there again. Basil the dog came every morning to see what was going on. Beach was very nice and it was nice at night to just go sit on the dock and watch the meteorite showers.

We stayed for two nights in the Towering Pines cabin and absolutely loveqd it. Clean, spacious, awesome fireplace, right on Poplar Lake. Wonderful people running the show, and Charlie the lab fetching his tennis ball. We will without a doubt go back.

Campsites were beautiful. It had all the equipment we needed to venture out on the lake. Kids loved the playground and beach. Staff was very friendly and recommended great hikes.

My hubby and I rented the cute little Birch cabin for four nights. We had the best time exploring the Gunflint trail. the cabin was cozy and clean. We had the best view of Poplar lake and plenty of privacy. We even made friends with Kirby the Kamp dog who lives on-site. We will be back soon.

This place is like heaven 🙌🏼 on earth! It is so peaceful. If you are looking to get away, and disappear 😶‍🌫️ into the woods. Then this is the place for you! Just make your way up the beautiful North Shore to the Gunflint Trl. Make your journey into the oh so gorgeous Superior National Forest. This is my first visit. For sure will not be my last. I wish I would have known about this place 20 years ago. Absolutely stunning! You can hike until your hearts content. Canoeing or kayaking is endless, and you would never need to see to the same thing twice. 😁 The hospitality is on point. Great friendly people. Spotless rooms. Beautiful cabin like feel if renting one. The Camping tent sites are right on the lake. They have some awesome camper sites as well. This place is pretty set up. Oh and on site showers too. 🤘🏼😁

I've grown up going to this resort. I can't even express the passion I have for it or the family that runs it. Truly the one place i wish i could call home. I can not wait to bring my new little boy here.
